Now, here is how you can take those screenshots. Start watching the video on youtube and pause the video where you want to take the shot. Then press the PrintScreen/SysRq button on your keyboard. Then open up paint (or photoshop if you have it) and paste the screenshot into the program. Then crop the image down to just the video screen and save it as a JPEG. Then it should be ready to email to me! I will post my favorites and use them in my new website for Little Lobster Films.

I Need Your Help!!

Hello fellow surfers of the interwebs. I am in need of your services.

I need a film company name. One that relates to W.A.S. because we are using a different camera and such to do all the filming and I am doing all the editing and producing.

I need something imaginative and relates to W.A.S. If somone gives me something good, I may have a prize for him. So please leave reccomendations in the comments of this post.

Wicked Awesome Update #31

Greetings Interwebs, It's been a long time since our last update so lets get started.

There has not been much happening recently because of some technical difficulties during editing, but the problems have been fixed and editing will continue very soon.

Also, we were not able to record the W.A.S. theme song yet because my Dad's new youth center still does not have anyone who can run the equipment. Unfortunately we can't just have anyone use the board. One would have to go through a class to learn how to use it, even then It would cost a decent amount to use the recording equipment in general. We're probably going to have to wait until next simester to do recording.

We still have a few small segemnts to record for the first 2 episodes to finish them but we'll hopefully do those soon. We also have a 3rd episode written that we need to record. Other than that, were waiting on the 4ourth and 5ifth scripts. We will unfortunately probably not have a special for this season. But as I type this I think that we might be able to do a short segment at the Harvest Party for a Halloween Special. I'll get dave on it ASAP.

So anywho that's it! Keep watching and keep waiting! Leave comments here and on youtube and tell all your friends about us! We're not going anywhere.

P.S. - Actually the website might be going somewhere for a short time. We are coming up on our domain renewal so the url www.thewickedawesomeshow.com might not work for a while. If you can't access the site, just wait a bit and we'll sort this out.

Wicked Awesome Update #30

Hello everyone!

So, we went out filming earlier this week! We worked with some of the scripts that Dave wrote and were able to get the majority of the first two episodes completed. We still have a few somewhat non-related segments to film.

So, a word on editing. We will be doing our best to bring you the highest quality video that we can. We already filmed in widescreen 720i, but we need to make sure that through the editing process this will stay the same. We will make sure that we do.

Also, continuing word on our new THEME SONG!! Sometime this month, me and the band are going to go over to a new Teen Center my Dad is building for Gaithersburg Recreation. They have a Recording Studio there! It won't be open until Octoberish, but me and the band can get in a bit early and do some recording. One of the songs that we're going to do is the new theme song.

Finally, a word on release dates. I was thinking, I haven't run this by the guys yet, that we could release the episodes as we make them. I'm not sure how well this would work though. You guys get more W.A.S. sooner but you have to wait longer for the next episode. So leave your thoughts in the comments, we would appreciate your feedback on this idea.

Filming

We went out and had our second film shoot today. This one was for a non-scripted episode, but still VERY funny. Andrew and Drew starred in this one. I might release some special footage at some point during this month so keep checking. I can't tell you much about this episode, but expect it to have a more natural feel. ;) Stay tuned and God bless.

Hello my little nemis's!

So my W.A.S. friends, as we all know I was sucked into time and space after that little "time traveling" incident, and I thought all my little enemies back hom might be wondering what happened to me. Well I am here to assure you that I am fine, and as dastardly as ever!!!! I've been doing some pretty devious deeds as well, all the while seeing the world as it was 50 years ago. Wicked Awesome Update #29 (WERE BACK)

Hey hey hey!! The W.A.S. website is back online!!

Hello and welcome back to the Wicked Awesome Show. I am your purveyor of awesomeness, Dylan Smith, creator and actor of the Wicked Awesome Show. We've been out for awhile now, been taking a summer break, but we are back and better than ever.

Alright, so pretty much forget about all the previous Ideas that I have mentioned on this blog. They were thrown out the window to be replaced by hilarious skits written by our very own, Dr. D (David Porter, comedic genius). You may see a few of the old Ideas squeeze into the final cuts, but don't expect to much. These new scripts kinda look back on the older days where we didn't really have a plot and just tried to be funny.

A saddening announcement though, we will not be doing the Wicked Awesome Musical until further notice. It just is not in the cards right now. Heck, most of us can't sing that well. You may however see some music videos from my as of yet unnamed band, which includes Me, Jayme, Eric (Jayme's Brother) and Gabe (a friend of Jayme's).

So that is it! Tell your friends to start coming back to the W.A.S. website because we are going to be hitting you with comedy that you have never seen before!!

Wicked Awesome Update #28

Sigh...Life is good during summer. But still there is nothing going on here on the Wicked Awesome Show. Oh, well. We'll get to it eventually. Right now lets relax and watch some youtube videos.

I found this guy on Youtube named Davedays. He's pretty funny.

I hope to end up as funny as many of the other online shows, but we're still a long way from being that popular. I hope with season 3 that will change.

Wicked Awesome Update #27

Hello Everyone.

Things are going incredibly slow here at Wicked Awesome Productions. We still have plenty of work to do on Season 3, most of which hasn't been written yet. I'm feeling a bit discouraged. Please Pray for me.

Also, I have found an alternate Video Hosting service for a few of the videos I was not able to slip past the Automatic Copyright sensor.

That is pretty much it. Pray for me and pray for inspiration to strike our writers.

Wicked Awesome Update #25

Cool, we've reached 25. It would have been more but we've skipped a few weeks. Anywho...

Nearly everyone involved with W.A.S. went to six flags on Friday for Home school day. I brought my new Flip Mino HD (which suffered a blow to the screen and now has a huge spot on the corner) and did a bit of filming of our antics. There was going to be music, but, once again, the youtube copyright filter blocked it.

The video may not work for a bit, it is still processing.

School is winding down and it is almost time to start filming. Writing though is crawling on like a snail so currently there is nothing to film. We hope to get the writing process underway very soon.

Also we had a new idea. Instead of doing random filming at Worthy '09 like we have the past 2 years, we were going to write a story that took place at the retreat.

Well that's all for this week. I was going to post another video, but my computer has run out of memory, so I will post it next week to keep you hangin. Plz Comment! and have a good 2nd to last week of school.

Wicked Awesome Update #24

Hello all!!

Recording on Saturday went very well and we got the theme song recorded. The title sequence should be done soon. So far, I have not received updates on how writing is going for the other episodes and I myself have been busy and have not been able to do any writing.

I do have some other news, Wicked Awesome Productions will be making a new show over the summer as well. I will be making a Halo 3 machinima (that is a movie made using a game) of an entire Shakespeare play. I will probably do a Comedy of Errors but if there are any suggestions for a future play, please email me at Dylan1Kenobi@gmail.com. I also might need some voice actors for the show so any help would be appreciated. I will most likely email lines to you to speak into your own microphone.

Wicked Awesome Update #23.5

I now have some BIG NEWS!!

We are finally going to have the first band meeting this weekend and if things go well we will probably also have a final of the brand new theme song. We might be able to film a little bit and put it up on the website for you guys to watch. Of course we will not reveal the entire theme song yet. You probably will not hear it until season 3 premiers, but trust me, if it works it's going to be epic.

Wicked Awesome Update #23

Hello all!!

The play is over (WAAAAAHH!! :'-( ) but that means that it's time to start really working on the next Season of WAS. We have already filmed 1.5 episodes (the half an episode will probably be released to you guys early as a short).

Our writers are starting to buckle down and nearly all of the episodes on youtube now have behind the scenes pop ups!!

Hopefully by the end of this week we will have a lot of writing done. So I hope to see you there! And remember, don't trust strange girls.

Wicked Awesome Update #22

WELCOME BACK TO THE WICKED AWESOME WEBSITE!!

This is the first post in a longo time! Well, things have been kinda slow because of the play (those who are local know what I am talking about).

Any who, we are still batting around ideas and writing will start after the play. (In about 2 weeks).

One thing that is happening is BEHIND THE SCENES POPUPS!! I have been going through what episodes we have on youtube and adding notations of little behind the scenes tidbits.

We have had one problem, the WAS Christmas special has been removed from it's video hosting service. I'm going to need to re-upload it somewhere so it's going to be down for awhile.

Wicked Awesome Update #21

Greetings all!!

Alright, we are almost ready to start selling T-Shirts. We have found a way to make them ourselves that will allow us to sell them to you guys for about $10 each. I have a picture here of one of the first ones I made.
I had a little trouble with the printer so there are pink lines across it but that problem will be solved by the time we start selling them to you guys. Also this one was burnt slightly, which we will have also eliminated by the time we are ready to sell. Aside from those flaws, the shirt looks pretty good. Comment on whether you would want one.

Also, we (hopefully) have another film date set. One of our episodes will be filmed at a secret location and you will not know what it is until it's release. There will be a hint of course in the episodic trailer, but don't expect too much.

Wicked Awesome Update #20

Hello everybody! Today, we have a special suprize for you all today. This week, most of the W.A.S. crew had Treehouse Gang (our church's children show thingy) and the skit that we came up with was without a doubt the best one we have done in ages! So here it is.


Also, I see you guys have been voting on the poll about W.A.S. Merchandise. We have been thinking about trying to make t-shirts and sell them. We are not exactly sure how this "WAS Store" will work though. We are aiming at making the shirts $15-$20. If anyone knows of a place where they get custom t-shirts fairly cheap, let us know.

Wicked Awesome Update #19

Greetings Internet!!

We have a special something for you guys! The first ever season 3 trailer of WAS!

Note - Black Spot Productions made this video, but will not be producing season 3. Production of season 3 will be reserved for Wicked Awesome Productions due to the fact that Black Spot will be producing many other shows this summer.

EDIT: We are going to be relocating most of our videos to a different account because as you probably have noticed, we have videos on 2 different youtube accounts, 1 google account, and a myspace account. We are going to try and put them all on one youtube account so if you try and watch a video and it does not work, just wait and try again later.

Ideas are finally starting to catch on and things are starting to move. Hopefully we will film another episode during this wonderful weather. Other than that there is not much happening. So that is it for this week!

Wicked Awesome Update #17

Hello again from the Wicked Awesome Show.

Sorry that I missed the update last week, but I was able to get you at least part of the Worthy 08 Episode. That took up most of my WAS attention.

Anywho, as you can see by the post below, we have started using ads on the site. Some of you have been asking questions about this. Well, the "Look for Ads About" thing is there because my account is awaiting aproval. But once we get aproval, we should start seeing some ads and hopefully earning some money.

Some of you have asked how much money will we get? Well, we will get money for every time somone clicks on an ad on our site. How much money we get depends on how much the poster of the ad will pay us. EG: An ad from ebay would probably pay more per click than a small flower shop in japan.

We are also still batting around Ideas for the 3rd Season of WAS. Some old ideas have been discarded and new ideas have sprung into place. Our writing team has already started writing the season finale, one of our biggest episodes yet. Unfortunatley for you, I'm not going to tell you what that idea is yet.

On a final note, season 3 might not come out until early fall, but you never know. We might get lucky and get all the episodes done before that. So, no deadline has been set but expect them late summer-early fall.

Well, you guys got a big update this week cause things are finnaly starting to happen. What's happening? Well I cant tell you, but it will knock your socks off when we reveal it. So...

First of all, sorry that the episode was up late this week. I had some trouble with Google Video and I was pretty busy this weekend. But it's up now so enjoy it!! And make sure you watch the credits all the way through.

Wicked Awesome Update #14

Greetings Internet!!

It's been a snowy early part of the week, so if we are incredibly lucky, we might be able to film an episode of Season 3 WAS. I will not reveal any more though or Andrew will kill me.

Also we have found the Wicked Awesome Show - Episode 5 - Worthy 08!! We made a few edits and It should be here soon. I have been having some trouble with google video so I dont have it now. I will try and get it up later this week.

Other than that, there is nothing new in the world of WAS. Only it looks like you guys liked the new episode! Admitedly it could have been funnier, but it was fun to make and I seriously tried to get random bystanders in certain shots, but Andrew was worried about lawsuits (an admitedly good worry).

This weeks episode is "Run!! Democrats!!" I now realize that it is ironic how this episode will go on the same week of the Inaguration. (i know I probably spelled that wrong which is also ironic).

Random interviews and why we didn't do them.

The reason we did not speak with random people is because we would be banned by our parents to do another WAS episode like this again. As funny as it would be, you have to think logically, we would get in severe trouble.

And yes Dylan, if someone sees their face in some youtube video that they had not given their permission to be in, we would have to take the video off. In order to get it back on after that, we would either have to blur their faces or delete the entire clip.

Wicked Awesome Update #13

Hello!! How are you all? Welcome to this week's weekly update.

Season three Ideas keep pouring out and it is hard to keep track of them, but things are going smoothly and we are well on our way. We are practicly ready to start writing basic ideas for the episodes.

Our theme song is coming along nicely. In case you are new, we are writing and recording our own theme song. We have a band together and the mucisians are practicing. Hopefully we will be able to get together for a recording within the month. Unfortunately for you, you will probably never hear this theme song until the season starts (hopefully in July but no promises). We have no plans of releasing a sneak peek of it.

Short update this week because of the fact that Season 3 is in the embryonic stage, but Season 2 is still coming. The next episode to be released is Episode 8!! Another one Rides the Bus!! I hope you guys enjoy it!! C ya!!

Ideas

Hello all,
Dr. D here. As someone said in the last post, we are batting around with some ideas. Of course, we aren't technically hitting ideas with baseball bats (ideas are abstract nouns (that is a noun that is not material (which means like.... like a cockroach, you can touch it) for all you younger viewers) just so you know). But anyway, we are thinking of ideas, and I'd like your opinion on some of mine. What about an episode where we are attacked by aliens? Or a pirate episode? How bout' one where we get the gang's ideas about fashion (this wasn't actually mine (a girl suggested it (Jenna (I'm not mentioning her last name) if you must know) ) so don't think it was me). What about one where we are arrested, or one where me and Drew hold a protest against the suppression of eccentrics rights? Tell me what you think (and remember if you want me to explain something (a math problem, or how to make a "figholteryonning") just tell me).

Wicked Awesome Update #12

Hi Everybody!!

Srry, im late this week. I have not been able to get back on recently to post and update. I see you all liked the First new episode of the Wicked Awesome Show. The next episode is probably one of the best in the season. SECRET AGENTS!!

Anywho, just like last week there is not much to say. Due to the fact that School has started up again (BOOO!!) our attention has drifted somewhat. But we still have stuff being planned and are in the works for Season 3.

Well, that is it that is WAS related so some unrelated news just to keep you reading.

Im borrowing Andrew's PS2 and am playing through Kingdom Hearts. It is an awesome game but I am stuck at Riku and I'll have to return Andrew's PS2 soon. Oh Well, At least there are the awesome manga for me to read so I get the story. One of the only reasons I play games is for the story! (And replayability and online multiplayer, but that's besides the point). I am trying to get it to work on my PC by downloading a special program but it's going to take a while to set up. I'll keep you posted.
